Okay so, counter to the previous badfic, this is actually a decent version of hypothetical Angelo/Serph if they were placed in a sex or die kind of RP situation, where characters must have (pleasurable) sex with another person within a certain time limit, otherwise they will die. Once they do, the time limit is reset. This is in stark contrast to the peaceful, underwater slice-of-life situation that

vatheon has. For the love of all that is holy, this has spiralled way out of control and I'm never touching this topic again. YOU CAN'T MAKE ME.

This could never have been written without the help of Umi -- my badfic competition and collaborator -- because without her, I would never have finished this monster of a... thing. I'm not sure I even want to call this a story. There is just way too much porn in this and why is safe sex a completely foreign concept to both of these guys FML.

I'm really enjoying my course! I'm actually putting in an effort into my studies and reading the textbooks and stuff, which makes me really tired because I've been slacking off for years so getting back into decent study habits is an arduous process. I'm currently saving on money by borrowing textbooks from the library, since people generally don't recall books if they're already on loan during the university semester.

However, I'm working off a previous edition textbook to the one prescribed by the university, and while it contains all the same content, what I didn't realise was that the chapters were rearranged.

So when I did the online quiz based on Chapter 3 of the child development textbook, I was SO CONFUSED when it was on families (socialisation, structures, influences, etc.) instead of physical development.

s-sob.

GRANTED in hindsight, there were lots of warning signs that the chapters in my textbook weren't matching the prescribed textbook but still |||OTL

Also, I meant to make a post regarding the stuff that went down during Chinese New Year but it's just been so long and it resolved well so... I don't know. And it occurs to me that I STILL have not made that Singapore post I meant to make last year after I visited.

I complete a dungeon in about 2-3 hours, usually less. The first heartbreak started yesterday. Then there was today. And because I spoiled myself, I know that every dungeon hereafter is going to be heartbreak until the final dungeon.

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE COULD DO THAT BECAUSE ALL THE FAQS AND VIDEOS SAY IT'S PIXIE/PARVATI WHO WILL DO IT. Pixie not mediarahaning is a side effect of the Red Star method, after all. BUT NO. APPARENTLY THE DEMI-FIEND CAN HEAL HIMSELF AND THAT IS HOW I DIED.

I THINK THE REASON NO FAQ MENTIONS THIS IS BECAUSE NO ONE DEALS THAT MUCH DAMAGE TO THE DEMI-FIEND IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. That and it's such a small window of opportunity to put him under 9k HP while he has no demons summoned.

And then in a later attempt, my entire party dies from a Mamudoon despite everyone having Death Resistance. I'm starting to think my friend is very good at jinxing optional boss fights. WE HAD A VERY PRODUCTIVE CHRISTMAS. No, really, we did. We made some cute papercraft decorations and chilled and then found a praying mantis chilling on my driveway.

/yeah I basically went and did the fight again because I'm a masochist apparently but it is so much fun.

Tales of Innocence is really growing on me and I can't really put my finger on why.

Okay I can, actually. ( Lots of game blah blah blah about constrained worlds, replayability, action games and rhythm, and stupid, shallow, incomplete Spada analysis. And the fact skits are awesome and I wish more JRPGs had them. )

Instead of doing things like catching up on the internet, I played Tales of Innocence some more (I might have to reassess my opinion on the characters; there's a bunch of skits and stuff that don't appear until NG+ and they're interesting. The plot is still a bit ehhh though) and...

For the record, I didn't eat anything the whole day except for a bit of bread, and my left arm and hand were seizing up BUT I PRESSED ON TO FINISH THESE and now I think my arm has gone beyond pain now.

TOTALLY WORTH IT THOUGH.

You know what. Whatever reservations I had about the Persona 4 anime based on the first episode, they are GONE. Episode 2 and 3 has just won me over completely and then I ended up snorting half my breakfast all over my laptop multiple times because I was laughing while eating toast that was sprinkled with almond powder.

Also Tomoe Gozen is ripped.

Edit: It's also reminded me of how much I love Naoto and Sukuna-Hikona's design, and I want to draw something cool with those two. As well as John Egbert from Homestuck. Cutest derptagonist * A*

I apparently am not completely recovered if I take a break from the computer and then suddenly sleep for the whole afternoon without warning. I still have a slight cough, but I'm definitely a lot better than before, where I would wake up and be like "... I can't move."

BUT TEN. WHY ARE YOU POSTING AT STUPID O'CLOCK? Because what sounded like people shouting and general thumping from my backyard when my neighbourhood is generally very quiet woke me up. When I can see the shadows of people in my yard from my window, I'm like OH GOD WHY ARE THERE PEOPLE IN MY YARD WHERE IS MY FIRE AXE WHEN I NEED IT. Basically I thought they were going to break in and I pretty much spent the whole time going mentally aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa /)_(\

3 hours later, I still can't sleep :|||

Edit: Yeah I wasn't imagining shit in the middle of the night. Our side gate was open and there's beer bottles strewn across the front lawn.

I have somehow managed to get sick on every weekend for the last three weeks |||OTL

So I have pretty much been spending all my time on artsy things instead of doing things I should be doing.

The first artsy thing would be Ask Yoshiya. Basically it's a tumblr for you to ask Joshua questions and have me draw a picture and answer in character as him. It actually doesn't take too much time for the most part, though I get about 1.5 asks a day, meaning my inbox will never be empty.

The second and third artsy things are... well. I just fell headfirst back into Deadman Wonderland thanks to a friend showing me a certain clip of a certain creeper (it's at 9:00-11:00).

For the people on my flist who aren't familiar, Deadman Wonderland is basically stupid sexy carnage. The majority of the plot takes place in a prison/amusement park hybrid, where a little casual death and human experimentation are the norm. And when you start getting into the meatier parts of the story, you'll quickly come to realise everyone is either a little or a lot messed up in the head, and the relatively sane main character struggles to not get pulled down with them.

Oh, and most of the main characters can control their blood and use it as a weapon.

Basically, if you like ~~gorn~~ stupid sexy carnage, Deadman Wonderland might be for you. The art is really well done (in both the anime and the manga), which might be the reason why there's more recolours of the manga than there is fanart, and in the manga, the gore is drawn in ever loving detail. The manga can be read here and the anime (12 episodes from start to end) can be found on youtube.

Which brings me to the 51 icons I made of Mockingbird. I promptly followed that with a fun little practice picture of him. Most of the characters I tend to draw aren't usually the acrobatic sort, so Toto is really just an excuse for me to draw endless pictures of flips and other acrobatic manoeuvres.

Kind of just realised that when mum's watching TV, the noise seems louder than what it used to be a few months ago. I know her hearing is not as good as it used to be in at least one ear, but hmm it's a bit concerning. It's also gotten to the point that being around the corner with some music turned on isn't enough to filter out the TV. And I don't like to have my music loud since then I both get a headache and can't hear myself think.

So... it looks like I'm going to be shifting my sleep schedule to sleeping early and waking up at stupid o'clock. I do admit that I feel more refreshed when I sleep early and wake up early, so I guess it's not such a bad thing.

There's just two main problems with this.

1) I won't be able to chat to RL friends who only come online later in the night (online being the main form of communication).

2) Not falling asleep on Wednesdays when I have to be at uni from 9 to 6 :| But I guess that's a problem regardless of whether I switch my sleep schedule or not since it's such long day :|

Took a self-esteem test out of curiosity and got 49/100. I forgot to copy the whole results text, but tl;dr I have a generally positive opinion of myself but somewhat low self worth. The other stuff it said regarding the way I view myself struck me as being (a little depressingly) true as well. I admit this is better than what it used to be, but. Yeah. Still got a long way to go.

Also how did I talk myself into drawing

If you thought canon!Minato was crazy for juggling so many people (13 Social Links, though Fool/Judgement/Death are naturally progressing ones), Vat!Minato has... 54 Social Links last time I counted (which would be today). asdf;lkj THIS WILL BE GREAT BUT I... still haven't finished that big fat Castlevania picture um. Although I have to admit that 84/117 monsters (70%!) is a pretty big achievement for me.

OKAY I am not allowed to tweak my Onion Knight app any more. NO MORE. I kind of think it's more scattered than I'd like but whatever, I AM DONE. Except not really; I'll probably tweak the sample a bit more hrhfgh.

I am having a small brain fart though. DISSIDIA PEOPLE I NEED YOUR ETERNAL WISDOM because if I start playing Dissidia to check this I will not study. Do ~~the Warriors of Cosmos~~ Team Cosmos ever find out about the existence of the cycles in the 13th cycle? I don't actually remember if they do or do not.

( relatively short babble comparing Onion Knight brattishness vs Joshua dickishness. I don't think I ever did so much character analysis for Joshua in such quick succession when I first started RPing him. )

WHY IS THE SCRIPT SO DIFFERENT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

OKAY it seems I was wrong about a few things in the previous essay. Or rather, only partly correct. Turns out you do find out how Onion Knight and Terra met, and it seems a lot of his script got changed in the 13th cycle in 012? It certainly makes him seem a lot more concerned about Terra than he was in the original. I'LL BE UM. REASSESSING WHAT I WROTE EARLIER asdf;ljhghsjdf and figuring out how to consolidate both the original canon and 012 canon into one. THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING.

I'm currently keeping the script relevant to Onion Knight here in his character journal. I ganked the script from GameFAQs, and I still need to reformat it so that it's more readable now that I have 012 stuff added in.

Thinking of possibly doing a voice test with Onion Knight against Joshua, since my slow tagging speed means external places that people use for voice testing or museboxing isn't very effective for me, as they tend to be highly temporal. Playercesting isn't usually the most effective way to voice test, but I think I have a good enough grasp on at least Joshua to prevent voice bleedover. Having the two play off each other should be interesting, at least * A*aaa

KIND OF READ THE SCRIPT ALL SCATTERED so stuff I thought was BEFORE he obtained his crystal was actually after, which explains why I was so confused. OKAY. CRISIS AVERTED. HOORAY. I'm still doing a second essay because I didn't cover everything I wanted to
