Dec. 26th, 2007 12:36 amTRENDS I HAVE NOTICED IN MY CHARACTERS IN MY ROVERSE:
1) They're all fucking ASEXUAL. That includes Night, because when I actually write him HE DOESN'T SEX PEOPLE WHAT WHAT IS THIS
2) I mentioned this before, but they're all LONERS.
3) They DON'T DISCRIMINATE against certain groups (e.g. race, nationality, job class etc. etc.) or appearance in any major way. The closest I have, I think, is Trian's vague dislike for unclean people and Pronterans and Lori's "stay away" reaction to alchemists.
4) That said, they DON'T FAVOUR either.
5) On that note, all of them are relatively OPEN MINDED.
6) They all are relatively OPTIMISTIC. Even Trian, who bitches a lot, has an ultimately optimistic opinion of people in general.
7) They are, for the most part, EASILY TOPPED !
8) Most of them are UNINTERESTED IN RELIGION or TRADITION
9) All of them want to strike a path apart from the norms/rules (whether social, job class, racial, whatever), but still have their lives governed quite definitely by the said norms/rules in place. The one exception is probably Tyler, but even that's a bit wibbly. That is, they want to be DIFFERENT, but they're still very NORMAL
10) Most DON'T HAVE (current) GOALS.
11) Are male (or at least the "main characters" are)
This is kind annoying because most of these are traits/believes/whatever that I, personally have ! So rather than trying to things i'm unfamiliar with, I am, mostly, writing myself ! D:
It's too late oh man WoW sucks up my brain through my eyes. Shit, I was supposed to write the Joy short-fic for the OP Christmas collection. Oh well, do it tomorrow, should be fun o T&T *__*
