1) Gin quickly found out, Ika-chan's ignorance of human ways aside, that the baby squid was quite obliging.

2) The main problem, though, was her small size; her tentacles weren't long enough for his tastes

3) Gin had heard that having someone with a tongue piercing go down on you made it better, but clearly that person had never had someone with multiple suction cups around them.

4) He decided not to go into the squid when he saw her sharp beak.

5) Apparently Ika-chan hadn't heard of the concept of 'cleaning up'; Gin saw her the next day still covered in last night's activities, but luckily no one else noticed.

6) It was the end of a beautiful relationship.

7) Sadly, Ika-chan didn't have the same tastes as he.

8) He was disappointed that Ika-chan's head wasn't as hard as he'd imagined it to be.

9) Ika-chan talked about knowing anenomes, they had more arms (on their heads), so she could bring one to Gin if he liked?

10) If she was older, maybe he'd enjoy it more as her assets grew out, but then her innocent appeal would be lost.

1. Angst
When the conflicts of interests became too much, it was time to say goodbye.

2. AU (Mafia)
Those two were his right-hand man and left-hand man, but Souji never revealed which was which.

3. Crack!fic
He was the only one who didn't have a game, but that didn't matter; his canon hadn't finished yet, his game wasn't over.

4. Crossover (Starcraft)
They should have known Gin was the sort to be very good at zerg rushes.

5. First Time
It was easy deciding what positions they should take; none of them were Aizen, Joshua didn't like putting in more effort than required, and Souji was used to filling whatever role required.

6. Fluff
If it was one thing they truly shared, it was their love for taking apart peoples' brains, even though what they did afterwards was different.

7. Humour
It was what drew them together, at first.

8. Hurt/Comfort
Hurting was part of the game -- finding the others' weaknesses and exploiting them was all in the rules -- so they knew when one of them broke, no one would pick up the pieces, only chalk up a win for themselves.

9. Smut
"So he's weak to blowing?"

They were all Players, but the ones closest to the Players were the Pieces.

There were supposed to be no survivors to the fire, but there was one standing right before him.

2. AU (Donkey Kong Country)
When he was let out of the cage, AkihiKong punched Kaptain von Karma out of the helicopter.

3. Crack!fic
"If Phoenix was being that annoying," Akihiko said, glancing at the game in von Karma's hands, "you should have punched him with the taser; it's close enough to what I do."

4. Crossover (TWEWY)
Akihiko didn't know what it was von Karma was wearing on his crotch, but that just made it a better target.

5. First Time
The worst part was that Akihiko looked suspiciously like one of his nephews.

6. Fluff
That Akihiko really knew how to mend ruined shirts, so he offered the boy a promotion that was turned down in favour of a spar.

7. Humour
As he calmly watched von Karma slam his head against the wall, Akihiko couldn't help but be reminded of an old friend.

8. Hurt/Comfort
It was all too easy offering Akihiko a place in his family after the fire.

9. Smut
It was interesting watching the conflict that played across Akihiko's face while he was under him: the battle of the want to be in control against the want to make a good impression.

They were two men who were completely focused on everything except each other.

1. Angst
When Joshua left for the third time, Ness knew it was time to acknowledge he didn't mean anything to Joshua, time to acknowledge it was over but didn't want to.

2. AU (Composer!Ness, Conductor!Joshua)
When Ness went to investigate why the Game that was supposed to begin three days ago hadn't started, he found his Conductor playing Tin Pin with 5th graders, and was inevitably roped in.

3. Crack!fic (continuing in the video game train !)
"You should play my game," Joshua said one day, "It's very modern ♪" to which Ness responded with a smirk, "You get to see me naked in mine."

4. Crossover (Persona 3)
"Persona!" he yelled, ignoring Ness' shouts and shooting himself in the head, realising a moment too late that the gun wasn't his evoker (luckily Diarahn was very good at healing stupid accidents).

5. First Time
Joshua had lots of thoughts about the first time -- against the wall, then the floor, before a short migration to the bed when he complained about how uncomfortable it was -- most of which consisted of never again before he took the initiative and stacked a pile of educational books seven tall on Ness' bed.

6. Fluff
When Joshua found Ness asleep in the infirmary, he dragged a blanket over the doctor before taking a seat to watch over him, meaning to leave before Ness woke.

7. Humour
For all of Joshua's nagging about being ~*prepared*~, it was Ness who had to point out that Joshua would have to take off his shoes if he wanted to take off his pants.

8. Hurt/Comfort
Joshua was too good at hurting, and too bad at comforting, but he pulled Ness into a hug anyway, and didn't say he was sorry.

9. Smut
It was much better, Ness decided, when Joshua wasn't using his mouth to talk.

10. UST
Ness was afraid of overwhelming Joshua with his need for contact, and Joshua didn't think Ness was ready judging by the way Ness would avoid talking about it (and he didn't think he was ready, either).

1. MAYO
Since he loved mayo so much, wouldn't it make sense to use it as lube?

2. WORKING
The problem with the brat was that he didn't acknowledge when he was doing paperwork, which made it very difficult to talk to other people who didn't realise Joshua was under the table.

3. PUNISHMENT
This was one Toshirou was determined not to allow Joshua talk his way out of.

4. LAZY
The only reason Toshirou topped was because Joshua was too lazy to do it himself.

5. BONDAGE
Bondage was only good when there is struggling, which was why Toshirou had to be the one tied up ♪~

6. TEARS
It turned out mayonnaise didn't make very good lube.

7. LOVE LETTERS
Joshua kept every poisoned letter from Toshizou, and pretended they were from his cousin.

1. Angst
Rikku didn't allow Joshua to hurt Ness (or anyone else) anymore, so the only other option was himself.

2. AU (Harem)
She sat on a seat -- a throne would be more accurate -- in the centre of an opulent room, her two precious boys -- different as night and day -- lounging by her feet and obediently turning their heads towards her hands as she placed them along their jawline, greeting her visitor with a coy smile, "Welcome."

3. Crack!fic
Joshua flapped a hand dismissively at the other two, "Turned based systems are so old fashioned."

4. Crossover (Pokemon)
"If there's three of us, it'll be easier to catch 'em all."

5. First Time
Rikku and Joshua argued over who and what was going into where until Ness fell asleep, with Fobbie crawling into his lap minutes later.

6. Fluff
One of the best things, Rikku thought, was having two sleeping boys next to you, keeping you warm on a cold day.

7. Humour
"If he can fly, it's okay for me to kick him off the edge of the ship when he's being an ass, right?"

8. Hurt/Comfort
The problem was that Joshua wasn't fond of Rikku, and Ness thought of her as a big sister, but when Rikku's last relationship ended badly, Ness helped her.

There was no way Rikku was taking anything from Joshua and Ness was too passive, so she took matters into her own hands.

There was a bit of a problem when she thought they were both gay and only gay.

"Sheesh, you guys don't even save your leader?" but her smile died and her grip on the controller slackened when she saw the look on Akihiko's face.

When she saw his Hitmonlee, she held out her pokeball with a Hitmonchan and said, "I'll trade you."

It was just like training, only with a slightly different set of adjectives.

Even though she was shorter, her kicks gave her greater reach than he did, but that just meant he had to get in close to her.

He'd seen her beat up punks with only her legs as her weapons, but apparently she couldn't take on critters with more than legs than her.

8. Hurt/Comfort
Akihiko had to accept it was time to let go of Mitsuru, but he never lost his weakness to ice.

Everyone thought they'd been training when they came back hot and sweaty, and just a little bruised.

1. Angst
It was really hard to concentrate when the cabbage on the table was eyeing him mournfully, waiting to be put in the fridge.

2. AU (Circus AU with Adachi as William Tell?)
They were out of apples, so Adachi made do with cabbages, and with a spin of his gun, shot the cabbage off the volunteer's head, dead centre, and considered aiming a little lower, next time.

3. Crack!fic (Adachi's hand is the Master Hand (http://www.awkwardzombie.com/comic1-031708.php))
Adachi only realised he hadn't been treating the Hand right when it started charging its laser.

4. Crossover (Phoenix Wright?)
Phoenix really believed in his client's innocence -- he really did! And nothing had come up on the Magatama either! -- until the evidence pointed to Adachi, and Adachi's mouth curled into a smirk, denying nothing.

5. First Time
He knew better than to use his nails, now.

6. Fluff
At least his hand would never leave him without his permission.

7. Humour
"Ah... I dunno about shaking hands... never know where they've been," but Adachi shook his hand, anyway.

8. Hurt/Comfort
After a kick between the legs from one stubborn bitch, Adachi took solace that his hand never gave him pain.

9. Smut
It began when he put the cabbage on the table, pretending it was that woman's face.

Adachi kept on wanting more than his hand could give him.

1. Angst
Adachi thought Souji was a reliable guy -- you know, the way guys with hero complexes tend to be -- but there was no denying Souji's unexpected clumsiness; Adachi's half-cabbage was smashed to pieces on the floor.

2. AU DO NOT WANT
When Adachi had accidentally dropped his handcuffs, he looked up to thank Souji as the teen handed them back, but the words died in his mouth when he saw Souji's expression, and his blood ran cold.

3. Crack!fic
"I'll give myself your name; then you could pretend all the girls are fawning over you."

4. Crossover BATTERED WIFE SYNDROME
"Get back to the kitchen!" Dojima had yelled, and Souji was a little surprised to see Adachi automatically move, too.

5. First Time
It was strangely unsatisfying that Souji didn't even panic when he placed his gun barrel against the teen's head and told him to kneel down.

6. Fluff
It was nice having someone else bring him coffee, instead of the other way around.

7. Humour
"You and I are the same, don't you see?" Adachi said with a mocking laugh, and Souji saw, and said with a hint of a smile, "My journey was different."

Before he left, Souji took the time to visit Adachi, the second person who did it of their own volition.

Adachi made the mistake of thinking Souji was completely compliant.

Ten tilted her head away from the gun barrel, but the pressure was still there against the line of her jaw -- she thought of how the bullet would pierce through her mouth and cheek and ear and miss her brain, the most important target of all, and grinned, how careless -- and Chi leaned in, a wicked smile on her face, even as she felt the gun at her abdomen.

"I'm not one for public displays," she said, putting her hands on the other's before they creeped too far south (or north), to which the response was, "There are some who need an education," and both pairs of eyes glanced meaningfully at the one taking notes.

Ten pressed her up against the bookshelf, fingers closing over strands of hair, tongue flickering lightly over the corner of Chi's mouth, but, "You might knock some books off," she chided, sliding hands down Ten's hips and grinning at the small shiver in response.

"How could she leave us like that?!" and a warm body wrapped around hers and whispered, "It's okay, we have each other."

9. Smut
Chi had meant to use the silk tie on Ten -- Ten shouldn't have seen it coming while Chi was under her -- but had been distracted by the mouth at her neck -- teeth, too -- and found herself tugged forward by it with a voice, breathless in her ear, "You've got good taste."

For all their dirty comments -- directed at each other, at other people, at cakes and pie -- neither of them made the first move towards the other.

"HWA-TAHH!" Chie yells as she swings her leg into a roundhouse, but Akihiko deflects it with his forearm and moves into her space -- he says after she's floored that she telegraphs her moves too much, which was met with a confused, "Huh?"

2) FIGHTIN'
Chie gleefully stole the last steak skewer, kicking the table into Akihiko's face and wolfing it down before he could get to it.

3) BEEEEEEEF
Akihiko couldn't help but be reminded of someone as he watched Chie inhale her beefbowl "This is nothing compared to the Rainy Day Special back in Inaba!", and bought her another one.

4) EYE OF THE TIGER
As he watched her dance to the music, he couldn't help but think her movements are more powerful than graceful, and that was before she put a hole in the wall.

5) Movie Night
Upon exiting the theatre, he heard a "Man, I really want to try out all those moves now!" from a girl he'd only seen once before, and quietly thought the same thing.

6) YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCE
She saw him cheering for one of the boxers with more expression than she'd ever seen, and immediately stood beside him and cheered for the kickboxer.

7) Introducing friends
"Huh? I thought you said there were eight of you?" Chie said, tilting her head and frowning as she thought, and Akihiko responded, "Yeah, there were," and brought her to the cemetry.

8) FUCK YEAH FIELD TRIP
It had been a pretty quiet shift that night, until he had to bring a bunch of highschoolers in for drinking, even though one girl claimed none of them had.

9) THE FUTURE
... was filled with talk of adopting puppy dogs -- there had to be at least one shiba inu -- instead of baby children.

10) SAVING THE WORLD
They couldn't save the world from itself, but they were damn well going to try anyway.

KB was one of the few not enamoured by Ten's low voice, but she was the one who listened to it the longest in the late hours of the morning (in another land).

KB's hate for maths only bred hate from maths, but Ten offered private lessons to make things right.

They spoke different languages, but the meanings remained the same.
