Leave me a comment and I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
1. Who was the first character you roleplayed?
Fandom wise, that would be Joshua. The very very first character I RPed would've been my oldest OC, Kris, who is basically a girl/woman who happens to have 4 gods of creation residing within her !
2. The inspiration behind your aim screen name?
A couple of years ago, my brother and I watched a nature documentary, and while we were watching, they were covering octopii and camoflague. A lot of people know that octopii can change colour, like cuttlefish. But what my brother and I didn't know was that octopii can also change the texture of their body to suit the environment. And we watched in complete amazement when a rough piece of coral suddenly shifted and became a relatively smooth, sleek, and awesome octopus swimming away. And then my brother and I gave each other a look and said, "The octopus would be the ultimate ninja".
Nevermind that they'd only be awesome ninjas in water.
3. Do you like it where you live?
I love where I live. Despite the various internet issues I have at my house, it's a really amazing place to live. It's a pretty peaceful area, with a good atmosphere and fresh air. It's neither out in whoop whoop (rural areas) nor in the city. Most places are within reasonable distance from my house, and it's not too difficult to find some place to meet up with friends and just catch up (mmm waffles...). My house isn't particularly big (by Australian standards. It's pretty spacious laterally by Malaysian, though my grandparent's house there has more space since it's two storeys), but it's not particularly cramped either. It has a good amount of space ♥
Also, there's a guy who lives around the corner who I call Plant Guy, because his garden is like a rainforest. I'm not kidding. There's like, palm trees, cyads, even some chinese medicinal plants... It's always a bit of an education when I talk to him. He's had a crane come in before in order to put in some of his palms (he both buys and sells his), some of which are microchipped because they're protected species.
4. Favorite food?
I don't reeeally have a favourite food, since I enjoy most kinds of foods anyway. But the things that I consider 'treats' and will occasionally buy some for myself (and to share with mum, if it's not too sweet) are:
- Brumby's apple turnover with cream
- TimTams
- Guylian seashells
- mum's plain bao
- wedges with sour cream
5. How do you divide up your time on a typical day on the internet?
Generally in the morning, I will check my e-mail for TST things (and uni things, since they direct to the same e-mail). However, I usually won't reply to anything, since it often takes me at least 20 minutes for a tag, and I have other things I need to do first. If I'm going to be in the house, I'll sign on to AIM, but won't join TST chat if I need to be doing anything. While I may be idling on the internet for much of the time at home, I won't do all that much with it outside of keeping an eye on my e-mail and AIM chats and occasionally checking my f-list and the webcomics/manga I follow. I generally don't touch anything RP related until an hour or two before I go to sleep, unless there is something that needs my immediate attention !

Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!", and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your journal, and explain what they mean to you.
Joshua
Haaah where do I start. There was a point where Joshua stopped being that one RP character I apped on a whim, an urge to try fandom RP, and became a character who... well. Could've been me. I guess you could say I've turned RPing him into an opportunity to see my own faults and do a little self-reflection, and, at the same time, put away a little of the bitterness that Joshua and I had behind me. It was kind of changing, because I could see how things would turn out if I walked down the same path Joshua walked. It gave me more reason to turn from his path, and continue walking the path I am now. I love RPing the troll in him, don't get me wrong. But the most significant part of him (for me) is how thinking about his character has made me think about my own.
TST
My first foray into AU RP and RPing a fandom character. Just as TST has changed and grown over the year and a bit, I feel I have as well. I repeat this every time, but I really do believe it was more than just luck that guided me to TST. I've learnt so much from TST and I've met so many people (some only briefly, some for longer). You've all helped me grow so, so much ♥ You guys might not know, but I was pretty shy, asocial and had very little confidence in myself. You guys really helped me to break through that. I might still be kind of flaily, but now I'll grit my teeth and IM people when I need to organise things instead of simply assuming. I've learnt to think a little more, something I probably wouldn't do if it wasn't for certain people ♥ (and then there's how much fun I've had in the game, but if I start I'll never stop) I don't really have the words to express my gratitude towards the people of TST, so I'll just say that I'm glad I can give something back.
heat
Heat in Australia's pretty different from the heat in Malaysia. In Malaysia, the heat is humid and incredibly thick. The air is denser and more polluted than in Western Australia, so it feels like there's a thick fog pressing down on you. You sweat, and it clings to you until you have a shower. Except you can't have an awesome shower, because there are water restrictions.
Heat in Australia is just pure, blistering heat. Although the air is cleaner, because of the few clouds in summer, pure, unadulterated sun beats down on your skin. The heat feels... precise. Penetrative. You can feel the burn of the sun. Yet people cook themselves anyway.
Australia
I will never stop thinking that Australia is one of the best places to live in. The people are kind-hearted, and if they keep on giving like they do, they'll keep on receiving as they are.
squids
are very tasty deep fried and salted.

2) What's the atmosphere like in your area? Quiet? Busy?
3) What does a single, straight line make you think of?
4) I forgot what you renamed Mistake to. Please refresh my memory.
5) Do you prefer multiplayer games to singleplayer games? Tell me why.
Bonus: Why are you so easily topped?

Also ask me questions!
I might be a meme-stop depending on how I feel though!

1) What's the non-internet part of your daily routine on a typical day?
2) It's no longer raining and there is a shallow puddle in the way of where you're walking. What do you do?
3) You're using a mac, right? Why choose mac?
4) Who is this Gorky person? ;;
5) Do you cook anything asian aside from noodles?
Bonus: Can I have your brain?

2) If I'm wearing jeans I walk through it, something nicer I go around!
3) It's easier, prettier and does what I need to do (write, aim, internets). If I were a gamer or a programmer I'd have to use PC. I do feel like macs are faster and less prone to crashing too.
4) Gorky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxim_Gorky). The name is a joke about me being a revolutionary.
5) Only orange and sweet and sour chicken that comes out of a bag or the occasional stir fry.
I might post them in my journal but I fail at making up questions!
