Yamato, who seems to have been waiting ahead, approaches...
Yamato: Ah, Hiro. My end of the preparations are complete. Shall we begin?
> Yeah.
> What about the others?
Yamato: Now... everyone's ready? Well, Nitta, come to the center of the plaza.
Io: Oh, okay...
Airi: Oh, wait... This place...
> I've seen it before.
> It's in the death clip.
Hinako: Yeah... This is the place from the death clip! There's no mistaking it...
Io: What...? Th-Then I'm going to die here...?
Yamato: ...What? Are you afraid? But it's too late, now.
Yamato: The Dragon Stream's seal has been broken, and Mizar is before us. We can't stop now.
Io: No... I'm okay. ...I'm going.
[Io walks to the centre of the plaza.]
Io: Uh, so... like this?
Yamato: Yes... Stay there during the ritual, no matter what. Move, and this will all be wasted.
Yamato: Hiro, and the rest of you, stay here and protect Nitta. All right?
> Okay.
> What about you?
[Yamato leaves.]
Daichi: Huh? Did he say war gods...?
> Yep.
> Something's odd.
Daichi: What...!? Do you know something, Makoto?
Makoto: Well... I haven't been told anything, but I have been with JP's longer than you guys.
Makoto: When Chief talks like that... It's likely this ritual is going to be very dangerous.
[A rumble!]
Io: Aaah!
[A bright light glows under Io's feet, and she starts floating.]
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: It's me. Can you hear? I'm going to connect Nitta's energy to Lugh's, to open the stream.
Yamato: You probably already know this, but the overflowing power will attract demons.
Yamato: You'll have to protect Nitta until the ritual is completed, no matter what happens.
Yamato: That's it.
[Demons start spawning.]
Daichi: Ugh...! So that's what he meant!
Joe: Don't tell me you weren't expecting this. We've got to suck it up and deal with it.
Keita: Hmph... I was just getting bored, anyway. I'll take them all on!
Jungo: Mhm... It's just like every other time. I'm going to defeat those demons...!
[Battle Start!]
[Io's turn. Energy spikes and damages her.]
Io: Aaaaaahhh!
Hinako: I-Io!? Wh-What should I do...? Io's in pain...
Joe: Oh, no... Io? This is bad... She's in pain.
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: ...Can you hear me? The burden of the ritual will cause harm to Nitta.
Yamato: You must be aware of her condition and heal her when you can.
[After defeating some demons.]
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: She is approximately 20% synchronized with Lugh. We need more time.
[More demons appear.]
Hinako: What the hell, stupid demons! Are they going after Io!?
Joe: Eeeesh, reinforcements. Are they going after Io...?
[After defeating more demons.]
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: She's currently 40% synchronized with Lugh. Bear with me.
[More demons appear.]
Otome: ...They're here again! I won't let you get near Io!
[If Io gets attacked.]
Io: Nggggh!
Yamato: ...Nitta is getting attacked by demons. You must be careful.
[After defeating even more demons.]
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: She's at 60% synchronicity with Lugh. Good, keep doing what you're doing.
[More demons spawn.]
Keita: Ugh... They must sure like this. Well, come and get your beatings!
Otome: No...! Everyone, we've got to keep Io safe, no matter what!
[After defeating almost all the demons.]
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: She is 80% synchronized with Lugh. We're nearly there.
[More demons appear.]
Kudlak: I smell power! I must have some!
Hinako: S-Something came out! It doesn't feel like those weak demons... Careful!
Io: That demon is... different from the others. Let's be careful as we fight it!
[After defeating all the demons, Mission Complete!]
Daichi: Yes...! We kept Io safe! So, now what...?
[The area rumbles...]
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: Can you all hear me? Pull out from the area. I repeat, pull out. Retreat.
Daichi: What...!? But... why? Io is...
[Energy and the fragments of Lugh gather around Io, and lights sparking within her.]
Io: ...! This is... Lugh!? His power is... overwhelming!
Io: With this... I can do this!
[A massive magic glyph appears on the ground.]
Makoto: Oh...! E-Everyone, retreat!
[As the party flees the area, Io floats high into the air, rising above most buildings. Channelling a powerful, fiery spear of energy, she throws it down into the glyph. Meanwhile, at the underground magic circle, a beam of light from the above ground glyph hits the centre of the circle... And from there, a streak of flame, the Dragon Stream, bursts forth, tearing across the sky towards Mizar. Snatching the Septentrione in its jaws, the Dragon crashes into a skyscraper, its body wrapping around the building as it tries to crush Mizar in its jaws. Her job done, Io slowly floats down to the ground...]
Jungo: ...! Mizar's clinging to the dragon... Can it swallow Mizar like this...?
Your cell phone rings...
Yamato: It's me... Can you hear me, Hiro?
> Loud and clear.
> What do we do now?
Yamato: Mizar is clinging to a building. You must climb it and rip off its tentacles.
Yamato: We're not in any particular hurry, but the Dragon Stream's time in this form is limited.
Yamato: Hiro... Find the right moment to head to that building and finish Mizar.
[Yamato hangs up.]
Keita: Hmph... Now's the time! I've had enough of being underestimated...
Makoto: Nitta... Nitta! Hang in there. Wake up!
> Don't tell me.
> What's the matter?
Daichi: Oh... Hiro... Io isn't... w-waking up... She's...
Joe: Haha... No way! This is just a joke, right? Io? Right?
Makoto: Nitta...! Wake up, Nitta! Wake up!
