You find Makoto waiting for you at the SL Plaza...

Makoto: Kageyama! Over here! I apologize again for the short notice.

> It's fine.

Makoto: Thank you. Relax until we reach Osaka. We'll go directly into the meeting when we arrive.

> Let's hurry and go.

Makoto: Yes, of course. If we leave for Osaka now, we should make it in time for the meeting.

Gowned Woman: Oh... Hiro? It seems we'll be travelling to Osaka together.

> So we will.
> Who're you again?

Makoto: This is Otome Yanagiya, one of the JP's private doctors.

Otome: I've heard rumors about you. Yamato and Makoto both talk so much about you...

Makoto: Wh...! O-Otome! What're you blabbering about...!?

> Is that so...?

Makoto: Hm...!? Wh-What's with that smirk on your face!?

> Yamato too?

Makoto: Oh... Y-Yes, that's right! Chief Hotsuin speaks of you frequently too...!

Otome: Hey... Why are you changing the subject? I didn't say that you loved him or anything.

Makoto: Ngh...! E-Enough! We have to leave for Osaka!

Otome: Haha... sorry. It seems everyone really does like you.

> I'm honored.

Otome: Ah, good. You are a boy, after all. I guess it's not such a bad thing to be loved.

> What about you?

Otome: Who knows? Maybe I'll end up liking you too.

Otome: Come on, it's almost time. Let's go.

[The trio enter the platform.]

Otome: Makoto... Makoto! Stop rushing. The train's not going anywhere.

Makoto: I-I'm not in a rush...! It's because of something you said...

[The ground shakes.]

Makoto: ......!

Otome: Aaaah! Is it an earthquake?

[More shaking, more violently this time.]

Makoto: Get down!

Otome: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

[After more violent shaking, the dust clears. The entrance to the platform has collapsed.]

Makoto: ...... Is it over...?

> It's okay.
> That was a big one.

Makoto: Megrez popped out another bud... It seems the quakes are getting stronger in magnitude.
Makoto: Reports indicated that cities are having trouble responding. We need a solution, quick.

Otome: Hey... The bridge... It's collapsed...

> Uh-oh.
> We can't turn back.

Makoto: Ugh... This is a mess.
Makoto: I'll report to the branch, and we should go to Osaka...
Makoto: Hello...? Fumi? What's the matter?

Fumi: Hey, Makoto. Are you safe? How is everyone?

Makoto: Oh, everyone's fine. That quake was caused by one of the buds, right?

[Demons appear in the area.]

Makoto: Fumi, wait... I just heard something.

[More demons appear.]

Otome: Demons!? What are they doing in a place like this?

Makoto: Save it! The emergency exit is beyond the platform. That's where we're going!
Makoto: ...Look, Kageyama. The demons on the platform haven't noticed us yet.
Makoto: Let's try to make sure not to draw their attention.
Makoto: The exit is over there. Don't let your guard down!

> What about Otome?
> We'll never make it.

Otome: Oh... Hiro. You don't need to worry about me.
Otome: I do work for JP's, you know. I can handle demons.

> How reassuring.

Otome: Heh... but you'll protect me if things get dangerous, right? I'm counting on you.

> Then cover me while I run.

Makoto: Are both of you read? Let's go, then!

[Battle start!]

[Makoto's turn.]
Makoto: The emergency exit is past the platform! We're going straight towards it...

[Otome's turn.]
Otome: Doctors are strong, you know. We have to punish bad children.

[After defeating some of the weaker demons...]
Pyro Jack: Hee-yoomans! You can hide all you want, but it won't work on m-hee!

Makoto: Agh...! They noticed us! Both of you, be careful!

[After drawing within Wendigo's sight range.]
Wendigo: Oh... Humans! Humans!

Otome: They noticed us... Both of you, watch out!

[Defeating Pyro Jack.]
Pyro Jack: Oh, n-ho... I can't bel-hee-ve I've been def-hee-ted... Ho...

[The ground shakes violently!]

Makoto: ......!? Another earthquake!?

Otome: Aaaaaaah...!

[After the dust clears, it seems the emergency exit has been cut off.]

Otome: ...The rubble...! We can't go this way, either!

Makoto: Damn... Now we can't get out.

???: --ello... --llo? Hello!? Can you hear me, Makoto?

[Makoto takes out her cell phone to take the call.]

Makoto: Fumi! Were you listening?

Fumi: You left me on the line. I've been waiting this whole time.

Makoto: I'll explain later! The emergency exit's been blocked!

Fumi: Yeah, I heard. What should we do..?

Otome: Fumi, can you hear me? It's Yanagiya!

Fumi: Otome? Hey, I'm glad you're safe.

Otome: Sorry, Fumi, but we don't have time. Isn't there a Terminal nearby?

Makoto: The Terminal? But that's still--

Otome: There's no other way! Fumi, connect the Terminal!

Fumi: Uh... We're currently restoring. It's going to take more time. Can you wait?

Otome: ...We'll be okay! Hiro, Makoto, let's hold on for just a little while longer...

[The Shiisaa notices the party. If the Wendigo didn't earlier, it will notice the party, too.]

Shiisaa: Well, lookie here! Humans! And I was getting bored, too! Come play with me!

Makoto: Agh...! They noticed us! Both of you, be careful!

[Defeating the Wendigo.]
Wendigo: Gyaaaaah! Damn it, humans...!

[Yet another demon appears!]

Neko Shogun: Hm... I smell humans!

Makoto: ...New demons! Careful, everybody!

Otome: Oh, what an adorable demon. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Makoto: Otome... There's no time for this. It's more powerful than it looks.

Otome: I know, I know. I can't underestimate it. Hee hee!

[Defeating Shiisaa.]
Shiisaa: Blerg! What're you doin'!?

[Defeating Neko Shogun.]
Neko Shogun: What...!? I've been defeated? By humans? I had so much left to do...

[Upon defeating all demons, Mission Complete!]

Fumi: Hey, I'm back... Wait, did you kill all the demons? I'm impressed.
Fumi: I'm done on my side, too. I'm going to send the escape pole down.

Makoto: Wait. What does that mean?

[A pole comes down into the platform.]

Fumi: There we go. Grab on!

Otome: Will this pole take us to the Terminal?

Fumi: That's right. Now move!

[Everyone grabs onto the escape pole.]

Otome: Go, Fumi! We've all grabbed on.

Fumi: ...Okay. Here we go!

[The pole retracts, lifting all three people with it.]

Otome: Hehehe! It's like an amusement park. What fun!

Makoto: ...I don't know why, but the two of you together always makes me feel exhausted.

Tokyo Terminal

Makoto: ...We're here. I'm glad we made it.

> Where is this?
> What's the Terminal?

Makoto: Oh... This is the Terminal. It's a transfer device, made from the best JP's technology.
Makoto: Using it allows you to move instantly to another Terminal in a different location.

Otome: But since Fumi went missing, they haven't been properly maintained.

> "Maintain"?
> Are we going to die?

[Makoto takes out her phone to take a call.]

Fumi: I sent the code to Osaka. It's unstable, so it won't be good for very long. Be quick.

Makoto: ...Man, what a busy day. Otome, Kageyama, are you ready?

> Ready for what?
> What's going on?

Otome: Heh heh heh...♪ I'll explain afterwards. We're ready.

Makoto: Well... Get ready for a shock. Let's go...!

[Makoto takes out her cell phone and activates the Terminal. A bright light glows at the pedestal in the centre of the Terminal before it shoots a beam up into the globe above. The globe spins and envelops everyone in a bright light...]

Osaka terminal

[...before beaming everyone down to the Osaka Terminal. Hiro hits the ground first, before Makoto and Otome land on him.]

Otome: Aaaahh...!

Makoto: ......Fumi must have sent us without adjusting the coordinates... Are you okay?

> Get off.
> This is nice.

Makoto: Hm...? What do you...? Aaaah!
[Makoto hurriedly gets off Hiro.]

Makoto: Y-Y-You! How dare you! Well, no, it's not your fault, I suppose.

Otome: Ouch... Oh... Hiro, I'm sorry.

[Otome gets off Hiro, who stands up once both women are off him.]

Otome: Why... Makoto... Your face is all red. Do you have a fever?

[Makoto doesn't answer, instead taking a call on her cell phone.]

Fumi: Hey, Makoto. I'm glad you arrived in Osaka safely.

Makoto: W-W-We weren't safe! You didn't even check where you were sending us...!

Otome: Oh, it's all right. We made it safely.

Fumi: Haha, that's good.
Fumi: I'm not done with the maintenance, so I thought you'd lose an arm, at least.

> An arm?
> ...Wait.

Fumi: What? YOU'RE the ones who wanted to use it.
Fumi: I figured that you'd lose more than that, what with the lack of maintenance...

Makoto: ...... I don't believe you, Fumi.

Fumi: Well, I'm glad nothing happened. I did get a head start on restoring it.
Fumi: Oh, yeah. I reported to Chief that you guys have arrived.
Fumi: He says he wants to have a meeting. Well, see ya.

[Fumi ends the call.]

Makoto: ...Sheesh. Well, I'm just glad everyone's okay.

Otome: Yes, I'm glad too. Let's get to that countermeasure meeting. Yamato's waiting.

Makoto: Hm...? Yes, you're right. Let's make our way to the main headquarters.
