Saving Daichi

[Fushimi - Science Museum] [13:00]
You arrive at the Public Science Museum...

Joe: Ah! We're here! So this is where Daichi is...

> Let's look for him.

Io: Yeah... Oh, and we need to rescue Jungo, too.

> What about Jungo?

Io: Yeah... We need to protect Jungo while we're at it.

Joe: Yup. But considering we don't know what's going on in there, what's the plan?
Joe: If we go in blind and the hostages die... That's not exactly mission accomplished.

> How about a pincer attack?

Joe: Ooh, nice idea. There do seem to be several entrances, so that might actually work.

[Io runs off, and quickly comes back.]

Io: ...Sorry for the wait. U-Um, I'll go behind the enemy. Can you handle the front...?

> You're going in back?

Io: Mmm-hmm! I call it... Operation Box!

> What's your scheme...?

Io: ...It's top secret! I call it... Operation Box!

Joe: I... don't get it, but okay! The back's yours. We'll create a diversion out front.
Joe: Let's go rescue us some buddies!

Planetarium.

[Jungo is alone against a Salaryman and Young Man. He backs off a few steps while they advance on him.]

Mob(Salaryman): You...! Finally, I've got you cornered! You won't cause me trouble anymore!

Jungo: Mhm... I guess I'm in a pinch now...

[The party enters from the right entrance.]

Airi: There you are... Stupid Jungo!

Jungo: Airi...? What's going on?

Airi: What!? Isn't it obvious? I'm here to rescue you!

Rioter(Salaryman): What the hell!? Are you all with JP's!?

Joe: Uh-oh... Looks like he's ready to fight. That means we have to be, too.

Daichi's Voice: Hey! Everyone...! Heeeeeeeeeeeeey!
Daichi: I'm over here! I can't move... Hurry!

Jungo: ...I have to save the hostage. Let's go, Hiro.

[Io enters from the left entrance wearing a... cardboard box!?]

Io: I-I'm going over there now. Hold on, Daichi!

[Battle start!]

How to save Daichi:
Stand on a space adjacent to Daichi and select the Rescue option to save him.

[Defeating a rioter.]
The rioter's phone has been destroyed...

Mob(Punk): D-Dammit! I'll remember this!
Mob(Punk): Gah! You bastards!
Mob(Office Lady): My phone... Damn it, I need to get out of here!
Mob(Salaryman): Aw, hell naw! Time to scoot!
Mob(Salaryman): Damn you, JP's...! Guess I'd better run...
Mob(School Girl): No! My phone!
Mob(School Girl): Well, crap. I can't fight anymore, fellas!
Mob(Young Man): Igh! I can't believe you JP's jerks got the best of me...

[After defeating several rioters, more enter.]
Mob(Punk): JP's! You're all going down, and I'm the one who'll make it happen!

Jungo: Mhm... It doesn't matter how many of you there are. I'll defeat you all...

[Rescuing Daichi.]
Airi: Uh, it's Daichi, right? I'm here to save you! Give me a second...
Io: Are you all right, Daichi? Wait just a little...
Joe: Yo, Daichi! Here I come, to save the day! ♪ Give me just a second here...

Daichi has been freed...

Daichi: Whew... I'm saved! Th-Thank you!
Daichi: But I can't exactly fight like this... I'm just gonna follow right behind you!

[If Io isn't the one to rescue him.]
Io: Phew! Daichi's okay!
Io: Then I don't need to be hiding either, right...?

[Io breaks through the box.]

Io: Whaw... Hiro, I'm gonna go help now!

(Hiro) In order to get Daichi to safety, take him to here...
(Hiro) ...or here to evacuate him.
Airi: Hmm... We've got to get you out of here, Daichi. That place over there...
Airi: ...and that place there would be good places to escape from. Follow me!
Io: Uh... I have to get Daichi somewhere safe... Over there?
Io: Over there looks good, too!
Joe: Okay, Daichi, let's get you someplace safe... How about over there?

[If you manage to get Daichi to escape before clearing out all the enemies.]
Daichi: W-We escaped, somehow... Everyone, I'm counting on you!

[After defeating all the rioters, Mission Complete!]

You untie the ropes that were binding Daichi...

Daichi: *gasp* I-I'm saved!

> Quit exaggerating.

Daichi: E-Exaggerating!? I really thought I was gonna die!

Daichi: N-No, I'm not okay... Look, I was tied up! It was not cool!

> Will you be quiet?

Daichi: C-C'mon, give me a break! I've been tied up this whole time!

Joe: Wow, man. You must've really been scared, hahaha...

Daichi: I-I wasn't scared! Okay, so I was. Incredibly scared.

Io: ...I'm just glad you're okay. We saved Jungo, too!

[The punk kicks Daichi.]

Daichi: Gah!

Jungo: ......!

[Jungo returns his Lilim.]

Mob(Punk): Now, guys! Get him!

[The mob gang up on Jungo. Stabbing sounds can be heard.]

Airi: Aaaaah! Jungo!

Daichi: ...Hey, Hiro!?
Diahic: C-Come quick! He's gonna die!

[...But it's too late for Jungo.]

Daichi: Huh... Hey... This can't be happening... Come on...

Mob(Punk): Who the--

Joe: What the hell!? You're all with JP's, aren't you!?

Airi: N-No! Jungo...!
Airi: I won't forgive you for this! I'm going to beat you all into the ground!

Joe: We have to go in there, and at the very least save Daichi.

[The party get out their cell phones.]

> Of course.
> I'm going to beat them up.

[Io enters the room from the opposite side in a cardboard box.]

Io: I-I'm going over there now. Hold on, Daichi!

[Battle start!]

[After defeating several rioters, more enter.]
Mob(Punk): JP's! You're all going down, and I'm the one who'll make it happen!

Airi It doesn't matter how many of you there are! I'll get my revenge for Jungo...

[After defeating all the rioters, Mission Complete!]

You release Daichi from his captivity...

Daichi: Th-Thanks... You saved me...

> Are you all right?

Daichi: N-Not really, but... that Jungo guy...

> Are you hurt?

Daichi: Mm, I think I'm okay... sort of. But that Jungo guy's...

> Jungo...

Daichi: Jungo...? You mean that guy who tried to rescue me, huh...

Io: If we'd come sooner... Would we have been able to save Jungo...?
