[Shinbashi - SL Plaza] [20:00]
You arrive at Shinbashi with Daichi, Io, and Joe...

Joe: Maaaan... It's so dark now.
Joe: But we're here at Shinbashi. We'll be at the Metropolitan Expressway in no time.

[Joe and Dachi are in the lead with Hiro following not far behind. Io's lagging a fair distance behind, limping.]

Daichi: ...Why are you bossing us around, Joe? It's not like you're Hiro...

Joe: ...Huh? Well, I'm a grown-up. I have to work hard...

Io: ......

> Come on, start walking.

Io: Oh... S-Sorry. I'll hurry...

> Are you okay?

Io: Oh... S-Sorry. My ankle hurts...

> You want a piggyback ride?

Io: What...? No, that's okay. I'll walk...

[Joe and Daichi walk back, concerned.]

Joe: Wait, are you hurt? You should have said something. Let's go slowly, then.

Daichi: What!? Oh, Io, I'm sorry! I totally didn't even notice!

Io:: No... It's okay. I'm fine...

> Don't push yourself.

Io: Oh... Uh... Sorry, thanks.

> You can do it!

Io: Yeah... Sorry, thanks.

> You want a piggyback ride?

Io: Oh... Uh... That would be really embarrassing...

Daichi: Hmm... I wonder if there's something that would make this easier for her...
Daichi: A steam locomotive...? Oh, hey, I know!
Daichi: Wait here! Hiro, I'm gonna go look for a car!

[Daichi walks further ahead and spots a truck.]

Daichi: Aha, perfect...

[He approaches the truck and knocks on the door.]

Daichi: And the key's inside! Nice! ...Hello? Anybody here? I need to borrow your truck!

[Daichi opens the door and gets inside, starting the truck.]

Daichi: All right! Everybody can ride in style now...

[Daichi reverses the truck, before pulling up near the rest of the group.]

Daichi: Hiro, Io! Check it! Now we can--

Io: Huh!? Is that...?
Io: It's Dubhe! Daichi, look out!

[There's a massive explosion, destroying the storefront nearby, before Dubhe lands on top of the truck.]

Daichi: Gah! What the hell!?

Dubhe: [GIBBERISH...]

Daichi: Is that... could it be...?

> Run!
> Daichi!
> Floor it!

Daichi: Whoa... Wah... whoaaaaa!

[Daichi reverses the car. Dubhe, unprepared, falls off the truck.]

Dubhe: [GIBBERISH.]

Joe: Uh-oh. It saw us. That's not good.

[Dubhe gets larger, and demons start appearing.]

Io: ......! Dubhe's summoning demons!?
Io: And we can't take the way back... Hiro! What should we do!?

> We can fight it.

Joe: Fight THAT thing? Uh... I don't think so. It looks really powerful.

> Let's ignore it.

Joe: Yeah, that sounds good. Mmm-hmmm...

> We're doomed.

Joe: No, don't give up. It'll be okay. That's the way of the world.

Io: H-Hey, Hiro... Look behind it. Can we escape through there...?

[There seems to be an open alleyway...]

Joe: That's it! That's a great plan!

> Let's go, then!

Io: Yeah...!

> Do you think it's safe?

Joe: We'll have to find out. All right, let's go!

[Battle start!]

[Io's turn.]
Io: We've got to be careful, Hiro... It's dangerous, so make sure to stay safe.

[Joe's turn.]
Joe: Man, this is scary. I hope we'll be okay...

[When Dubhe attacks Io.]
Dubhe: [GIBBERISH.]

Io: Aaah! Is it going to attack? I can't beat it... so I'll have to resist it!

[When Dubhe attacks Joe.]
Dubhe: [GIBBERISH.]

Joe: Uh-oh... You want a fight, don't you? Sucks to be me...

[When the party moves sufficiently past Dubhe.]
[A steel girder falls, tossing debris in the path the party intended to use to escape.]

Io: No...! How can...?

Dubhe: [GIBBERISH...]

[Dubhe gets larger, as if it's ready to explode.]

Io: Oh, no... We're going to...

Dubhe: [GIBBERISH...]

[Dubhe's about to explode!!]

Joe: Oh, man! This is bad! Really, really bad!

[A revving sound can be heard.]

???: Rrrrrraaaaaaaah!

Io: What...? That was Daichi!

[More revving, and the truck suddenly pulls in on the railway above.]

Daichi: Hiro...! Io...! I've gotta do this!

[A quick reverse, before Daichi sends the truck flying into Dubhe, knocking it out of the way and taking the brunt of the explosion! When the dust settles, all that can be seen is the burnt out truck lying on its side.]

Io: No...! Hiro...! Daichi...!

> Don't go!

Io: Huh...? But--!

[The party's gaze goes to the burnt out, spinning base of Dubhe. It looks pretty damaged, and it's missing its pink top.]

Io: It's still alive...! No...!

> It's still dangerous.

[The party's gaze goes to the burnt out, spinning base of Dubhe. It looks pretty damaged, and it's missing its pink top.]

Io: ...! Dubhe's... still alive!

> Look at Dubhe.

[The party's gaze goes to the burnt out, spinning base of Dubhe. It looks pretty damaged, and it's missing its pink top.]

Io: ......! No! It's still moving!

Dubhe: [PAINED GIBBERISH...]

Joe: Hey, look. I think he exploded or something.

Dubhe: [PAINED GIBBERISH...]

Joe: See? He looks pretty weak now. You think maybe we could stand a chance fighting it?

> Let's do it!
> For Daichi!

[The battle resumes!]

[Io engaging Dubhe in a fight.]
Dubhe: [GIBBERISH...]

Io: ...It's getting weaker. Maybe I can fight it now!

[Joe engaging Dubhe in a fight.]
Dubhe: [GIBBERISH...]

Joe: Hey... It's stumbling a little. Everything's comin' up Joe!

[Upon defeating Dubhe.]
Dubhe: [GIBBERISH.]

[Dubhe explodes in a black ball of energy.]

Io: We beat it...! Yes! I think we won!

[Makoto and other JP's enter the scene with Yamato in the lead.]

Yamato: Ho... We were chasing the fleeing Dubhe, but I didn't think we would find this.
Yamato: So you defeated Dubhe... Impressive.

[The JP's approach the party.]

Joe: ...Whoa, what's this?

Yamato: Hm? You've changed personnel. Did the other young man you were with die?

Io: ...Did he? Is Daichi... dead?

???: H-Heeeey! Don't write me off just yet!

Io: Daichi!? Where are you?

Daichi: I'm over here!

[Everyone's gaze look up to where Daichi's hanging off the broken train tracks.]

Joe: Daichi! What are you doing up there!?

Daichi: I jumped out of the truck before it went over the edge, you idiot!
Daichi: I did it to save your lives!

Io: He's safe... I'm so glad!

Daichi: Um... Io? I might be safe, but I can't get down...
Daichi: Hiro...! Don't just stand there! Help!

> Sheesh, fine.
> Hold on.

Yamato: Sako, go assist that boy. We have to help him down.

Daichi: You're gonna lock me up again, aren't you!? No! I'm fine up here, thanks!

Yamato: ...Hahaha! Don't worry, any doubts we had about you have been cleared.
Yamato: You all defeated Dubhe... Even if by coincidence, your actions are praiseworthy.

[Yamato and the other JP's exit, leaving Makoto to help out.]

Makoto: I'll assign some JP's guards to escort you guys home tomorrow morning.
Makoto: It's late. We'll provide you with food and shelter, so get some rest.

Io: Oh...! Thank you so much, Makoto!

Joe: What luck! Good things do happen to nice people, after all.

Daichi: Hey, so uh... Can somebody get me down?
