DISSIDIA!!11!1!!!!1
This was meant to be a post about non-standard formatting, but I just recently got my PSP and I ended up starting up Dissidia despite not having finished exams yet.
To celebrate, have all the (stupid) pictures of Cloud in a dress I drew on every whiteboard I came across.

I've been enjoying Dissidia even though I'm terrible at fighting games in general! I tend to get overexcited and lose focus, so I slip up easily, getting shit like getting kicked in the face 3 times in a row in chase sequences. And when I get overexcited, I also get twitchy, which is how I am right now hfa;ksdlfhg. The hardest part is getting used to a 3D fighter and not running into rubble and doing stupid things and not getting killed because I accidentally hit L which flipped the camera and not knowing any of the opponent's attacks.
Of the characters I've played so far (Cecil, Cloud, Firion, Tidus), I'm actually surprised that I enjoy playing Tidus as much as I do! Maybe it's because his moves are so flashy, but I actually quite like the whole dodge -> attack thing. I'm not really sure how I'd fare against someone who plays keep-away though.
So, like, since I tend to learn fastest and best against challenges (the reason I play on Proud mode in Kingdom Hearts games), I've been taking on those high level (level 14) manikins while I'm level 5-7. SO WORTH IT, even if it means I get -100 for retries on that stage. I'm currently stuck on Kefka (Tidus's story) since Tidus is the lowest level I've ever tried on these harder manikins, and I'm having a hard time not getting iced in the face, which Bravery breaks me in one shot orz. It's an uphill battle (I'm not using the Magic Pot summon) but it's exciting! ... and hard.
It's also pretty interesting seeing how the AI changes tactics depending on how much bravery it has * A* I guess it's a pretty good emulation of how a human player would behave.
Edit: I also hear FFX's Spira and FF7's Planet are the same universe? THIS SOUNDS VERY FASCINATING and Dissidia + this makes me more than willing to try and actually complete FFX.
