Okay I know I haven't finished the happiness meme but fhsdkflg

Gustave Doré! I don't know anything about him aside from the fact that he's the artist of the supposed image of God from Dante's Inferno and the cover of the Oedipus collection from Year 11. This guy should never stop drawing angels because almost every picture that has a host of angels in it is SO PRETTY.

Gorgeous stuff, innit? He makes Dante that many times more awesome, and I'm just thankful that the first time I read Paradise Lost, it was my parent's copy with all of the Doré illustrations.

Strangely enough I just couldn't really get into Inferno, even though in the back of my head there's this voice that's like going, 'but this is awesome, how can you not like this?' I suppose I like the concept more than the content hahahah.

... also, I keep on hearing about Paradise Lost, but I have nfi what it's about. Is it something I should read?
