Hmmm well I used to feel that I didn't feel like a girl, but these days I don't don't feel like a girl or boy (does that make sense?). Except when someone explicitly brings it up, which is almost never now. I find it pretty hard to feel as outraged and wanting equality over the more subtle signs of living in a patriarchal society mostly because it just. doesn't really register that I'm supposed to be female? I almost envy the people who can say with confidence "I am a guy" or "I am a girl" and live that, you know?
But at the same time as wanting equality, I feel there's going to be a difference because idk. To me, male and female are the same, and different as well. I guess if people want equality between the genders, they're going to have to start redefining how they view gender? To me it was never about womens' rights, but peoples' rights.
