W-well I haven't been accepted yet but this should be okay anyway :>
So hahahah I finally managed to finish my 4th app to That One RP, and idk, I like hearing other peoples' app stories or how they write up their apps. Or their app woes XD But yeah, I love seeing works in progress, so I thought I'd share with you guys what Akihiko's app looked like in progress before I neatened it all up prettily like it is over here.

CHARACTER INFORMATION-
Canon Character and Series: Akihiko Sanada, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
In-Game Name: Akihiko Sanada

Position & Ship (first and second choice for position please): ___ , Brave Vesperia
Appearance:
-find more often than not with boxing gloves, if not away training. (what IS Akihiko wearing? vest over dress shirt, slacks(?) most often, casual wear = ?? )
-white hair, light brown eyes, (need to do a height comparison), surprisingly less built then expected RE: boxing, but lean. despite slightly wild hair, gives an aura of focus and controlled fighting spirit. clothing etc surprisingly neat.
-most common expression is neutral, eager/excited/pumped at the prospect of a good fight.
-red armband with S.E.E.S. but rarely worn here.
Personality:
-focused, esp on getting stronger + more powerful (doesn't like losing), but also applies to other areas e.g. his studies. Half this obsession is the reason for his excitement at a fight, admiration for bravery, to stand up and fight.
-saving people. no matter how low the chance, he will risk what he has to save, whether he will be backed by others or not
-while so far it gives the impression Aki is all brawn and no brains, this is far from the truth. while he may lead with his fists, he knows a direct attack is not the answer to everything (even if it is his preference). will let people have space, doesn't pressure.
-smart, pays attention to detail, able to come up with theories using both logic and (gut feelings?), though when it comes to human interaction and romances, he is significantly less adept and umderstanding.
-takes a long time to become close and comfortable with (he does not seek out friendships? but gains friendship and companionability through circumstances and working with them?). but once he does, invaluable friend.
Abilities/Weapons:
Akihiko's most characteristic abilities deal with fighting, and that's no surprise when fighting is the focus of his life. He is skilled at fighting with his fists, being well known for his skills in the boxing ring back at [school]. While he isn't as physically strong as some others, his main strength comes from his focus; Akihiko only thinks about what needs to be done, and never about other distracting thoughts that would prevent him from winning.
-ability to summon a Persona, 2nd self, the 'mask' that protects the user. Polydeuces -> specialises in Zio (lightning), enemy status effects (hmm) + minor healing / physical abilities (the persona itself). Reduced damage from electricity attacks.
How well can your character hack?: While Akihiko is competent at using journals and other electronical equipment, he cannot hack at all. This is mainly because his strength is in fighting, not using technology. Leave the hacking to the technogeeks.
Weaknesses:
-socially inept :| outside his group of friends and general politeness, Aki = focuses on training/whatever errand he has to do. When can neither train (convinced not to by others) or has no errand, socially awkward (e.g. ???), doesn't understand people, so never really sure how to cheer up friends who are feeling down?
-summoning personae takes mental and physical toll, and repeatedly doing so will result in user feeling drained. thus, often when summoning, just summon them for long enough to do what they need to do, whether casing spells or dealing physical damage.
-as polydeuces is a part of his self, its weaknesses apply to him also. Polydeuces = weak againt cold/ice skills, thus cold attacks = +dmg
History:

-blah blah orphanage with sister (Miki), met Shinjiro. but blah blah fire (when he was 8), and sister died, Akihiko being held back by adults.
-beginning of what would become an obsession on becoming stronger, so he could protect anyone
-school with Shinji, 15th year awoke to the power of the persona, and aided Mitsuru in the fight against the shadows.
-but during one shadow fighting operation, Castor went wild, and Shinjiro left SEES (Aki is a bit 8[ about that)
-Aki continued aiding Mitsuru, but of course, difficulties with 1 less person when already short staffed. But soon there were more people awakening to their personae, bringing the number of personae users in SEES up to seven, if you include the dog.
-but the number of leads they have to eliminate the shadows were rapidly dwindling, despite the fact that the shadow's influence was spreading across reial
-Aki decided to leave the area too see what information he could gather elsewhere, and to continue his training so he was prepared for whatever challenges they would need to face. Hearing there was a position free on the mercenary ship Brave Vesperia, Aki saw an apportunity to not only be in the forefront of difficult battles, but an uncomplicated way of travelling about Reial and gathering info.
