Ness/Joshua pronz for the stalkers. Obviously, NSFW :|

"One night," he'd said, hands by his side. "One night to rest and remember all that you've had. So you can clear your thoughts of us tomorrow, and focus on winning."
And Ness had agreed.
--
There'd been just a hint of desperation in their movement after they shut and locked the door to their borrowed room. Because they're both scared. Scared that this might be their last night in each other's presence.
Joshua let Ness cling to him; he didn't want to let go either, even though Ness is leaving creases in the back of his shirt. He leans forward to press his lips against Ness', an action to reassure like it did before, because physical actions are more tangible than words. But Ness presses forward, pushing him against the wall, and deepens the action into a kiss. Joshua can feel Ness' hand curling into a fist against his chest where his shirt's unbuttoned, and it's the feeling of skin against skin, heart quickening, fingers digging into his collarbone, that makes him wonder if this is wise.
Joshua gently breaks off their kiss to a soft whine that dies in Ness' throat, and folds his hands over Ness'. The fact Joshua can feel the warmth from Ness' hands, the warmth that reminds him Ness is alive, reassures him.
"You're being unusually forward," he says with a hint of teasing in his voice.
There's no childish pout, only the childish smile that suited Ness better than any other expression. "Let's have no regrets, okay?"
And Joshua laughs at that, reversing their positions and pinning Ness against the wall. He leans forward and whispers in Ness' ear, "If you insist," and slides his hands up the back of Ness' shirt.
Ness fumbles with the buttons on Joshua's shirt, tugs it off Joshua once all the buttons are undone and lets it drop to the floor, because it's not something important right now. Like Ness' jacket and shirt. Pressing his body against Ness', Joshua can feel Ness arch under him when his mouth goes to the shorter boy's neck.
It's the way they don't quite fit together that fascinates him most. The way their fingers slip over skin, the way their hips jar and clash against each other, the way they're so different but hold just enough similarities to love each other.
The pants are the last to come off, like an afterthought they almost forgot.
Joshua doesn't completely register what happens next, only that his back is suddenly against their rented bed and Ness is leaning over him. He lets his hands lightly brush Ness' sides, grinning at the shiver of pleasure that runs through Ness' body. Closing his eyes in warm contentment when he feels Ness press his body against his, nuzzling his neck, Joshua's pleasantly surprised when Ness bites him, and bites his own lip to contain a moan. But it becomes more difficult to remain silent when Ness bites harder, applying both teeth and tongue on the rapidly redding mark on his neck, and Joshua bends his legs and digs his heels into the mattress of the bed. When Ness raises himself off Joshua for a moment, Joshua pulls Ness back down and makes a mark on Ness' neck to the sound of Ness' quiet whine.
And it occurs to him that they're missing something important.
"I thought you had a better memory, Ness," he says, breaking away for a moment, slinging an arm around the back of Ness' neck so their faces are an inch apart. Joshua reaches further down Ness' body with his free hand and begins stroking. "Unless you intend to make it hurt."
Joshua can see the confusion on Ness' face, as well as the slightly glazed look in Ness' eyes from trying to ignore Joshua's hand and focus on his words. "I... I... what?"
"Lube, Ness," he says slowly, like he's talking to a child. "You didn't bring any."
Ness reddens, though Joshua isn't sure if it's from his mocking or the jerking of his hand; he can feel Ness hardening under his touch.
Sighing theatrically, Joshua continues, "Really, I think I overestimate you sometimes. How many times have I stopped for you to catch up? It's been this way since the very beginning." And Joshua stops his movement, bringing his hand to rest against Ness' thigh instead. He smirks. "Do you intend to keep me waiting, even now?"
The sudden movement from Ness surprises him just a little; Joshua's arms are knocked away and his legs pulled up over his body. Joshua cries out when Ness roughly pushes himself in, and Joshua arches and blindly digs his nails into Ness' back against the sharp pain. He doesn't see Ness lean in, only feels Ness' mouth on his and the steady thrust into him.
Their breaths are swallowed up by the other, and Joshua turns his face so a moan slips out the gap between their mouths as the pain begins to blur with pleasure with every thrust. Joshua digs his nails harder into Ness' back, and Ness' grip on the bedsheets only tightens as he starts moving faster, moans mixing with Joshua's. Joshua stops thinking, just letting all the feeling take over him, and it's not long before Joshua comes with a long moan when Ness pushes in as deeply as he can, giving a slight shudder as he comes shortly after. Ness waits a moment to catch his breath before he pulls out of Joshua and flops down on the bed beside him.
It's a moment they capture, faces flushed, just panting and breathing. They'd begun by clinging to each other, desperate, but they finish holding each other in silence, limbs tangled, skin warm. It's only a brief moment that Joshua completely believes Ness will return, and closes his eyes...
... And when he opens them again, Ness is gone, the empty space beside him cold.
