[DeSu 2] 3rd Day - To Nagoya

< Prev | Index | Next >

[You get some different text if Io and/or Joe didn't join your party. Buuuuut I accidentally saved over my file.]

To Nagoya

[Shinbashi - Special Platform] [8:30]
You arrive at the special platform in Shinbashi on your way to Nagoya...

Io: Ah... Hiro. Um, I heard about the Nagoya trip from Makoto...

> Are you okay?
Io: Oh... Y-Yeah... I'm okay now. I think... Thank you.

> Daichi's in danger.
Io: Yeah... We should hurry and get to Nagoya.

Io joins your party.

Joe: Hey guys, sorry! I'm really late, huh? Hahaha...

> It's okay.
Joe: Haha, thanks. I appreciate you letting it slide.

> It's a thing with you, huh?
Joe: Heheh, busted. My mind started to wander and then I ended up falling asleep...

Joe joins your party.

Makoto: ...Everyone's here now. Thank you all for your cooperation.

> Think nothing of it.
Makoto: ...That helps me breathe a little easier.

> You better be grateful.
Makoto: Yes... My apologies. Believe me, I am thankful.

Makoto: About the Nagoya branch... We still haven't made contact and don't know the situation.
Makoto: But we did send word of your arrival. If it reaches anyone, they should come and greet you.

> That's not very reassuring.
Joe: Yeah... scary stuff. Alright, Hiro... Let's not do this after all!

> I'm not getting my hopes up.
Joe: That's the spirit! Well, you can handle this, and I'll stay behind in Tokyo!

Io: Joe... Come on. Can we get going now?

Joe: Awww, Io's giving me the cold shoulder... *sniff*
Joe: Oh... Actually, could what's going on in Nagoya now be related to the disaster?

Makoto: ...We don't know that either. As of now, we haven't the least idea of what's happening.

Joe: Ah, okay. Well, either way, looks like we'll have to go scope it out ourselves.

[Joe and Io board the train. Before Hiro can...]

Makoto: ...... Kageyama...

> What?
> .......

Makoto: ...I'm sorry for getting you guys involved with this. Be careful out there.

> Sure.
> I'll be going now.

[Hiro boards the train. The train pulls out from the station, heading for Nagoya. When the train pulls into the Nagoya platform the party disembarks... but there is no one there to greet them.]

Io: ...We're here... in Nagoya. But whoever's supposed to be meeting us...

> ...Isn't here.
> This sucks.

Io: Yeah. I'm worried about Daichi, too.

Joe: Hmm... Doesn't look like the cell phones are getting any bars, either.

Io: ...?

You all check your phones. As Joe said, no one is getting any reception.

Io: Why can't we contact the Nagoya branch? What's going on?

> Is the base station ruined?
Joe: ...All right, now that we know what's going on, let's go home!

> Did JP's get destroyed?
Joe: ...All right, now that we know it's dangerous, let's go home!

Io: We can't, Joe... We have to save Daichi...

Joe: Right... I know. I was just kidding. Ha ha ha... Ha?
Joe: ...But isn't there a good chance that something happened to the Nagoya JP's branch?

Io: Yeah... We don't know where the base station is...
Io: But if JP's is safe, they wouldn't let it stay down like this...

> Let's go.
> Let's find some intel.

Joe: That sounds like a good idea. Let's get a move on.

[The party leave the platform.]
