[Keita leaves.]

Daichi: Man, we got lucky! I’m glad things worked out. Phew!

Hinako: You idiot! This isn’t a matter of luck!
Hinako: Yes, we got lucky THIS time, but what if that scream had been a civilian!?
Hinako: You’re pretty powerful... If only you had the guts to back it up.

[Hinako leaves.]

Daichi: Hoo boy, I made her mad...

A panicked JP's member runs over to you.

JP's Mmeber: You're just in time! We could really use you!

Daichi: Y-You need our help?

JP's Member: Enemies have appeared just past here... I can't take them all myself!

Daichi: Huh? ...Enemies? You mean, demons? Then sure, leave it to us...

JP's Member: Well... It's hard to say. Civilian intel's wonky, and it may be Septentriones.

Daichi: What!? That's really, really bad! We have to call everyone else...!

JP's Member: No, it'll be too late! If they attack the tower the barrier will fall!
JP's Member: We're going to have to stop it ourselves!

Daichi: R-Really...!? But, I mean... A Septentrione!
Daichi: There's no way we could take it down! This isn't a joke!

Hinako's Voice: ...Hey, Daichi! What're you whining about?

Daichi: Gah... Hinako!?

JP's Member: Thanks, Ms. Kujou! There are conflicting reports, so it could be east or west!
JP's Member: We only need to hold on until the other JP's staff arrives. Go east to meet with them!

Hinako: No... I'll go west! If it IS a Septentrion, then I'm more experienced fighting them!

[The pair search for Hinako and the demon.]

[They spot a cellphone, and go closer to inspect it.]

Scream: Aaaaaah!

Daichi: ...! Was that Hinako!?

[They spot Hinako, surrounded by demons.]

Hinako: Gah! This blows...! I'm not going to last much longer...

Daichi: Wah! There's so many demons! And Hinako's all alone!
Daichi: AND she doesn't have her phone! We have to do something!

> We've got to do it!

Daichi: Y-Yeah...! Wait for us, Hinako! We'll save you...!

[More demons appear, blocking Daichi and Hiro's path.]

Daichi: What the--!? Outta the way! We have to get to Hinako...!

Hinako: Aaaaaahhh!

[Hinako's quite injured, now.]

Daichi: Gah...! Dammit, dammit, dammit! This is bad, Hiro...!

[They try to break through the demons, but are repelled by the demons attacking them.]

Daichi: Dammit! Move! This is all my fault...!
Daichi: It's all because I was wasting time... Because I didn't agree to help when I could have...

Hinako: ...! Who do these demons think they are...? Seriously!

Daichi: ...! This... it's my fault!
Daichi: I have to do this! I have to do something...!

[Daichi kills a demon with a spell.]

Daichi: Get out of my way, demons! You sons of bithches!

Hianko: ...Daichi!?

Daichi: Yerrrraaaaaaahhh!

[Soon, the demons are all dispatched.]

Daichi: Yes! I did it! You bastards...!
Daichi: Oh! Hinako! Are you okay? Are you hurt!?

Hinako: Yeah... I'm okay. I'm glad things worked out... Whew.
Hinako: And Daichi... Shut up. This isn't some anime where you have to scream every attack.

Daichi: Oh... Sorry. I'm sorry for everything.

Hinako: ...... I forgive you. Who knew you had it in you, Daichi?

Daichi: ...Huh?

Hinako: I'm seeing you in a different light now. Thanks for saving me.

Daichi: Oh... Uh... If I'd helped you sooner, this wouldn't have happened...

Hinako: Don't worry about it. What matters more is that you came for me at all.

[Hinako leaves.]

Daichi: All these demons started coming out, so I went to go see what was going on.
Daichi: And then this happened. Man, that was scary...!

Daichi: Yeah. I took them on, all by myself.

> Did you run away?

Daichi: Ha! You know me... But no, this time I stood up by myself against them.

Daichi: Remember when we saved Hinako? That got me thinking...
Daichi: I didn't like having to fight demons, with the world turning into this place...
Daichi: Why did it have to be me doing this? Couldn't it have been someone else?

[If you recruited Daichi on Day 7 in a route other than his own, you receive the additional following dialogue.]
Diachi: But when I run away, someone else gets hurt. Seeing Hinako made me realize that.

Daichi: And I hate that. A lot more than getting hurt myself...
