Last LJ post in a while, I swear! I also just realised Photobucket's been resizing my images again 8| (or... not. Weird. It seems to display fine when they're shoved in an LJ post, but not directly linked) I've been flipping through official art for some references and it occurs to me that even though Joshua is the one that gets called wimpy, Neku actually seems to have less muscle than Joshua. In both official artwork and in sprites.
Compare without and with retouched lineart.
For the record, the image still isn't done yet. Gonna redo the blood, figure out what I want to do with the wings, touch up on a lot of stuff, add more detail to a few things, add colour to the lineart... Possibly add shading to the background, but right now I think it works alright with just a gradient.
