3DS things

Still in Malaysia. Still melting. Will probably write lots of holiday stuff later.

For those hanging on to Australia 3DS news, it's going to be AUS$349.95, available on the 31st of March. The poor kiwis have to pay NZ$453.00. If you're in WA, apparently you can try it out on the 25-26 Feb at Carousel from 9am-5pm. Don't know anything for the other states, sorry. However, you can try your hand at winning one.

999 - $34.99
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future - $29.80

That JB HiFi price is the best I've seen for pokeymans (EB had it for 68 wtf)

Also, read this and cry with me. http://www.aussie-nintendo.com/news/25187/

Awww, man, that price is not surprising but still annoying. That's nearly as much as the Wii cost on launch! And what I am always surprised at how badly the New Zealanders get screwed, it's not like there's that much difference in the exchange rate?

:/ I have seen Devil Survivor at some JBHiFis for $44 new, $30 secondhand, and Ghost Trick for $52 (though wouldn't surprise me if that were just a launch special). Have you tried Dick Smith Electronics? Their range is kind of sucky, but I managed to pick up Donkey Kong Country Returns a whole $15 cheaper than anywhere else. Also, can you actually import games from Amazon? Whenever I try, I'm always stopped by a message saying they won't import games to Australian addresses. Rage!
