Also I feel really good about my units this semester, though I suspect that feeling might go away RE: my maths unit once I start actually doing stuff for it. Feels useful! Also, the Networking unit book is kind of cute. At least it tries.

A metropolitan area network, or MAN (plural: MANs, not MEN) is basically a bigger version of a LAN and normally uses similar technology.

Edit: Also, what is up with the Hummingbird card being labelled as Mockingbird in the latest DMW updates? Is this on purpose? Is this foreshadowing? Did I totally miss something? (I admit skimming the last few chapters since I haven't downloaded them onto HD yet)

@ the edit: It's not symbolic of anything; it's an error. They've (the authors) made similar mistakes confusing Deadman names in the past. There's another similar error earlier back in the manga which I am too lazy to find fhasjfskjds.

IIRC the actual text says 'the twisted, abandoned hummingbird' but the scanlators were probably confused by the errored background card and changed it to 'mockingbird'.
