[Note: These two events only appear once you have taken the Anguished One's Fate event, Harmony. Because I messed up some stuff, I don't know the earliest moment these events can be taken. However, I think that only the second event is Daichi Route specific. {}{}{}]

[Daichi is standing near the Void.]

Daichi: Hm... Hmmm... Hm? Hmm...?

[Daichi stumbles back in surprise and falls on his butt.]

Daichi: Whoa...! M-Man, you freaked me out! C'mon, don't sneak up on me like that...

> Don't be so surprised.

Daichi: Whaaat!? That's all you can say after sneaking up on me!? Not cool, man! Not cool!

> Rock, dude.

Daichi: That's that rhyming slang, huh? I get the joke, but give me a break...

[Daichi stands up.]

Daichi: *sigh* Well, it's not like I was grunting at nothing.
Daichi: See, it's about that scar. I've been thinking about it.

Daichi points to the scar left by the Void's advance...

Daichi: I mean... what is that? We've been told it's an "absolute void," but what's that mean?

Daichi: You see? What is this "Void"? What goes on out there?

Daichi: Yeah, yeah, you're a genius, I know. But I dont' get it! What is this "Void" anyway?

Daichi: I get that it's a bunch of nothing, but what's happening past the scar?
Daichi: That reminds me... Um, Io said something about this...

[Fumi approaches, eavesdropping.]

Daichi: Like, the whole world is made of matter based on information. She got it from Fumi...

[Fumi creeps a little closer.]

Daichi: Yeah. It was too hard for me to understand completely.

[Fumi creeps a little closer.]

Daichi: As if you weren't there with Io when she heard it!

[Fumi's right behind Daichi now.]

Daichi: Anyway, so if the world is just made of information and matter is all piled up...
Daichi: What does that make the Void? Is it no information or matter? Or is there something there?

> No.

Fumi: Nope, none at all. It's an absolute void. You do know what "absolute" means...?

> Maybe there is.

Fumi: No, there isn't. I mean, it's an absolute void. You do know what "absolute" means...?

[Daichi stumbles back and lands flat on his butt again, flailing.]

Daichi: Gyaaah! D-Don't scare me like that! Where did you come from!?

Fumi: Er... around?
Fumi: So, what were you talking about? I saw you grunting like an idiot for a while.

Daichi: Wh-- Shut up! You don't need to call me an idiot!

Fumi: Ah, so that's it. I see. Tell me... does the term "concept" ring a bell to you?

Daichi: U-Umm... I think I've at least heard of it before...?

Fumi: So, no then. Concepts are the general summations of meaning.
Fumi: The term refers to capturing the essence of a thing in an abstract summary.

Fumi: They're nothing more than data written to a gigantic storage medium somewhere in space.
Fumi: The word "akasha" is Sanskrit for "space," referring to the size of the medium...
Fumi: That's where it gets the name "akashic record."

Daichi: Oh... So, um, in that case...
Daichi: The death clips just show the events already recorded in the akashic record?

Fumi: Ahhh... you're catching on. That would be the case. Though we only have that man's word.
Fumi: If we were to extrapolate outward based on that theory...
Fumi: It would suggest that Polaris can delete and edit data from the akashic record.

Daichi: Wow...!

Fumi: Haha, the keeper of the akashic record... We may have bitten off more than we can chew.

Fumi: Hm? Why fight it?
Fumi: I can't be sure, but if your chosen edits are within reason, Polaris shouldn't resist you.
Fumi: The Chief's a smart man. He knows man could never win against such an entity.

Fumi: Mm. Well, as long as your requested edits are within reason...
Fumi: Polaris won't resist them. Siding with the Chief seems smarter now, haha.

Fumi: Well, I say you guys should start thinking about how you're going to handle this.

[Fumi walks away.]

You find Daichi, Airi, and Hinako deep in conversation with Fumi...

Fumi: Will you give it a rest already? This is proving to be too much of a hassle.

Airi: What do you mean, a hassle!? This is important!

> What's going on?
> This looks like fun.

Fumi: Ah, Hiro. Everyone's picking on me... Do something!

Daichi: Picking on you? More like picking your brain.

Fumi: Sheesh. I mention the akashic record just once...
Fumi: And everyone bombards me with these stupid questions.
Fumi: I can't work with these lesser minds, I tell you.

> What were they asking?

Fumi: Err, hmm. What was it...?

> Can you tell me too?

Fumi: Oh my, how cheeky. Have the flags for my explanation been reset?

Hinako: That's not what we were doing, Hiro. The past data is in the akashic record too, right?

Airi: Yeah, wouldn't that mean the data from before the world was destroyed is there too?

> Right.
> You think so?

Hinako: It has to be. And if Polaris can edit that data...
Hinako: We might be able to restore the world before all this happened. We were talking about that.

> I see.

Daichi: So yeah... we're wondering if we could get out old world back with Polaris' powers.

> Will that work?

Daichi: I dunno about that... but we were wondering if Polaris could give us our old world back.

Daichi: If that's possible, everything will reset to normal, and we can go back to our lives!

Hinako: So how about it, Fumi? Can we do it or not?

Fumi: Mm, well... the akashic record contains the past and future, so I wouldn't rule it out.
Fumi: But restoring the world is just like turning back the clock, isn't it?
Fumi: If we restore the same world, the same things will happen and we won't remember any of this.

Airi: Ugh! Fumi! We're all trying to think here, so quit raining on our parade!
