Io produces a half-empty bottle of water from her bag...

Daichi: This bottle's half empty... Can I really have this!?

Daichi: Whoa, okay! You don't have to yell, man...

> It's all yours.

Daichi: Ahh... You know something, Hiro? Some days, it's good to be alive.

> Lucky bastard.

Daichi: Ooh, a stickler for the rules. Well, this one's mine!

Io: Um... I don't need any more, so you can have it.

Daichi: Thanks a bunch! I'm only too happy to--
Daichi: Huh? Who's that over there?

[The party spots a group of civilians.]

Encouraging Man: We're almost there! Just past here, and then we're home...!

Tired Woman: I can't... I can't walk any more... I can't...

Encouraging Man: Don't say that! C'mon! Stay with me!

Daichi: Hey... They look like they're in trouble. Should we talk to them?

Io: Yeah...

Daichi: ...Huh? Wait... What's that?
Daichi: Hey... Look! Something's falling!

[A... thing that looks suspiciously like an icecream cone falls out of the sky into the middle of the group of civilians. The force of its impact surprises Daichi so much that he drops his bottle of water and falls onto his butt :>]

Tired Woman: Aaaaaaah!

Daichi: Wh-What is that!? It's moving...!

???: ○±Θ, ❅%. Ωᴙ...

[The party gets out their cellphones.]

Daichi: What...? The app on my phone... It's starting all by itself!

The summoning app appears on your cell phone...
The thing approaching you appears on the screen and is labeled as "Dubhe"...

[Dubhe gets larger! The encouraging man takes a step back while Daichi gets back on his feet. The party also take a step back.]

Io: Dubhe... It got bigger!

[Dubhe advances.]

Dubhe: ΩΘᴙ...

[Dubhe gets even larger!]

Encouraging Man: Wh-What is that thing!? It scared the crap out of me!

Optimistic Woman: Wh-What's it doing? It's blowing up like a balloon.

[The civilians approach Dubhe.]

Tired Woman: It's... moving. Maybe it's not dangerous?

> It'll kill you!
> Don't touch it!

Flashy Man: Gah...! Don't scare me like that! Who are you guys!?

Dubhe: ΩΘᴙ...

[Dubhe charges up...!]

Daichi: Wahhh! This is bad! This is really bad!

[...and explodes! All four civilians are incinerated.]

Daichi: Those people...!

Io: They were all caught in that explosion... No...!

[Dubhe advances and gets larger again.]

Daichi: Oh man... Crap's going down, man... We've got to run!

[Dubhe gets even larger!]

> Run!
> Scatter!
> Escape!

Daichi: Waaaaaaaah!

[Dubhe gets larger and explodes while the party flees the scene.]
