In which Ten (re)discovers the shippability of Australian chefs
OKAY I CAN BE. COHERENT ABOUT THIS. I'M SURE.

tangoes_rule's words, "man that was really happy tv viewing". It's seemed a lot more ummm funny this season than the previous season. More /BROFIST-like; I think maybe because Adam and Callum seem more like close buddies than Julie and Poh were. The winner was who I expected, but the lead up was fantastic and really enjoyable !
Which. Um. brings me to the real reason for this entry.
So, like, I never watched the earlier episodes of Masterchef. So I don't know who most of the other chefs where were eliminated before the top 9 are. Yet somehow I ended up shipping Callum with one of them?? Namely Matthew. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MATTHEW but I started shipping it during the finals when Matthew was being interviewed about Callum and he was speaking really highly of him and wearing a really gay scarf and somehow I ended up shipping it what.
THIS IS SIGNIFICANT because I do not seriously ship things in other media. Shipping is... not something that comes easily to me! Often when I say I ship it, it's a... preference over the other options. But somehow I find myself shipping chefs from Masterchef? I generally don't find real people attractive in the way I like yet somehow?? Maybe because for me, it straddles that line between reality and fiction. Everything is real, but because it's a TV show and the editing is DRAMATIC and such, it doesn't feel real. Except the emotion does. It's unreal enough for me to ship, but real enough to make me BAWWWWW.
I was actually going to speak about an observation about the Election Debate because something annoyed me but I think it's been crushed overwhelmingly by Masterchef fangasm.
