1. Where and when did you start RPing?
GaiaOnline for like a week or so back when I was. whoah. I have no idea. 13? 14? Then stopped forever, did a couple of posts on a Ragnarok Online forum RP (which was like, 5 tags before things died :|a), then went back to Gaia for like a month. beyondtherift with an OC for maybe 1? 2? months before I tried out a couple of RPs (the old sieben_rpg, plutoix, pokeology_rp before it changed hands) but always ended up returning to my one true love, theskytides.
2. Do you RP anywhere other than LJ?
Not anymore.
3. Do you play in any public games?
theskytides. Never played anything privately, except for a couple of offshoot things, but that was mostly because they were done through PMs due to lol timezones and being on a forum.
4. Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging?
I used to favour comment spam, then it became 50/50, now I favour prose. Prose is a little meatier, which makes me feel less bad when I take more than a day to tag someone back. On the other hand, I have a fondness for comment spam that comes from the days I used to stalkcampfuckudie and devour threads with a hunger that was only held back by a slow internet connection.
5. What was the first character you ever played?
Overall, one of my OCs who has mostly faded to obscurity, though she occasionally appears in other stories, if only to provide an outside perspective on a world's happenings. Fandom wise, Joshua from TWEWY.
6. Who's your favorite character to play now and why?
Still Joshua, because I have a lot of freedom with him and he's a flexible character who can deal with pretty much any situation. I do admit the primary reason I enjoy him is because he's such a troll. I've generally found that because he's such a dick, any interaction he has with anyone is basically guarunteed instant RP gratification/satisfaction. It's just not something I can get as easily from a non-douche character. And besides, I can pull stunts like badporn and not have it look out of place. I think the public Watanuki/Ichigo will be the last one I ever do though. Never did like repeating troll topics, and while yeah, it was lulz, and I did get some interaction that I will cherish forever from it, I felt dirty inside for repeating something I'd already done before, and basically reiterated something I already knew; repeating awesome degrades the awesome. No more public badfic from Joshua ever again, I think.
7. What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
Joshua, for almost 21 months now and still going strong.
8. What's your biggest RP pet peeve?
They tend to come and go with the wind, and they usually don't bother me all that much. The bitching about how hard it is to get CR gets old real quick, though. I mean, some of it is valid, but I generally feel that most of the whiners don't seem to realise that getting CR is 'give and take', not just 'take'.
9. Do you read RP secrets and the RP anon meme?
Can't load RP!S most of the time, I tend to skim the RP anon meme.
10. If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
If I'm joining another game that's already well-established, I prefer community, because it's easier to find past things that may be relevant, and it's easier to find the threads of characters relevant to my interests. However, if I've been there since opening (like, say, TST), I prefer journal based, because people make funny tags on their journals xD
11. Would you rather play with someone who's very very IC but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always IC (but not terrible) and a great writer?

12. Do you have a "RP partner"?
Seriously have no idea what RP partner entails anymore. Whoever I'm threading with at the current time will be my RP partner.
13. Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? Who?
Used to stalkcampfuckudie before I actually started playing. Stopped stalking when I picked up RPing for myself, and generally just don't have the time to stalk other casts, games or players anymore. I used to check out other Joshua players when I was still shaky on my voice, but stopped since I'm good on that now, and my Joshua's been through so much Character Development that looking at other Joshuas isn't going to help my characterisation much, I think.
14. In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
Samples. Always the samples. Usually third-person. I think it's usually because at the time, I'm still trying out the character and stuff, so the samples always feel kind of off to me. That said, I actually kind of love writing apps ♥
15. Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
While I do try to pick something relevant to the character, I generally put minimum effort in it.
16. What was your first game?
On Gaia, it was some... slaveship thing. In hindsight, I should've realised how dodgy that could've turned out. On LJ,beyondtherift. Even though I had the occasional :| moment there, I really did enjoy my short time there, and that's all I could ever ask for from an RP. For fandom, theskytides and the fact I'm married to it says everything I ever need to say.
17. Are there any canons you avoid tagging characters from?

18. Most memorable scene in any thread?
I have a goldfish memory, so I generally have to look at past threads before I remember that MAN THAT WAS PRETTY AWESOME. Right now I have a three-way tie between Isshin horribly crashing Joshua and Ness' makeout in the hotsprings, L topping Joshua horribly and Harleen calling Joshua a teenage girl ; A; I seem to notice a trend here...
19. Do you RP sex?
Never really had it come up. Tried a sex log once, turned out really awkward because I just. don't. get it. Done the occasional AIM thing, but those are hardly the most serious of RPings (/j-j-jam it in! )
20. Do you play more males or females?
Males. Overwhelmingly so.
21. What *won't* you RP?
Can't think of anything off the top of my head. If someone I won't RP comes up, then I won't RP it.
22. Dressing rooms: yes or no?
Started off in a DR. Not really my thing, though.
23. Ever RPed a pairing?
Lol doing so right now. A bit less than 20 months and still going and holy hell that's a ridiculously long amount of time.
24. Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games?
Public game, I guess? Museboxes feel like one night stands while open posts are like public orgies. Public games are like a long term relationship, with plenty of love given and plenty of love received. Never been in a private game, though I suspect it'd be the lover I hide under the bed when my partner comes home.
25. Talking RP with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?
Depends. From my experience with talking to other Joshua players, they seem to be perfectly content to share headcanons and talk about how horrible he is in their game. Their character interpretation's almost always different from mine, but I like hearing about their theorising and they tend to make sense, so I find it super fun to chat with them!
Talking with someone who's a rabid shipper and/or very focused on the gay aspect (bonus points if they talk about sex a lot, too!) of Joshua? Awkwaaard.
